Excitement! Dec. 2004 This is a custom painted drum commission for Ravynwolf. It is painted on a 12" deer hide drum. It has a really high, sweet tone to it, and it's a drum I have been holding onto for over a year, waiting to find it the right owner. The symbolism of the spiral represents a path, one with a distinct beginning and end, but many curves along the way. It is a very personal-relating symbol. The horse represents strength (standing strong but moving forward), feminine energy, empathy, and emotional wisdom. The blue and water themes are just that; a symbol of life, rejuvination, healing, power, and comfort.
